Hey guys, an old gentlemen that comes into my work mentioned that he had an old kombi he wanted to get rid of, so i went for a look and it was really good condition, runs well, stops well and shifts well. . .. and he just gave it to me and didn't want any money for it at all. here are some pics .

Probably best you give the kombi to me.;)
It starts off as an innocently enough and before you know it you have a driveway full of old VW's and sheds full of spare parts.
The wife goes crazy:crazy:, the kids in the neighbourhood walk past and point "there's the crazy VW person....":punk:
I think togather we can work through this to overcome your problem before it gets out of hand.

free lowlight... that is awesome man, the old guy couldve sold that for some fair money i reckon, suppose he just didnt want to go to the trouble of selling it. looks good :tu:

Haven't had a freeby since last Oct. when I rang a guy about his 58 microbus split. Asked if he would sell it and he said no, but you can have it for free if you cart it away. Good score. volma1

Thats Brilliant a 72 Kombi for free, may need a goat or a Whipper Snipper to give the engine bay a once over.

You know you would think so, but people over here don't pay a great deal for bays. Even early ones. Course that will change soon. The brits are bang up for a good bay and a lot of ours are going to the UK.

And yes...I'm very jealous. I'm not usually a fan of campers but that looks cool. :cool:
