All the VW shops that advertise on here and in the VWA Magazine on sale at newsagents..

Chrome holds the heat...
not a good thing on an air cooled engine..
VW used chromed tappet covers in Northern Europe to help keep the engine hot during the very cold winters.

A Lot of the chromed pieces that you can buy are made in Taiwan and do Not fit too well...
so beware...
