Beetle on fire on sunshine coast

[size=4]Today on the radio said that a beetle went up in flames on the Sunshine Coast...owners got out of it ok
...can anyone shed some light on this for me?[/size]

Heard the same thing up here on the radio, but no more info. Always sad.......check those fuel lines.

Funny how you never here the make unless it's a volkswagen.

I agree. It's always 'A Volkswagen burst into flames in traffic today...' and for everything else it's just, ... 'A CAR was on fire today...'

It would be nice to hear 'A Subaru ran off the road and burst into flames today..."

lol, i probably shouldn't laugh at that.
True though, and i haven't heard a thing. Saw a wicked smash on the news from Bathurst practice though
