the south australian hillclimb championship is on at collingrove this weekend- with a few vws racing including peter gumley in super charged open wheeler,renee in his fast beetle,andrew chapman in mk1 golf and me in a beetle, should be good event all are welcome

it was agreat weekend with perfect weather and now with a bitumen return road - my car went great running a best of 35.10 only 0.2 off the record and winning my class, renee run 35.5 for 2nd .the 2 beetles surprised a lot of people . peter gumley won outright with his vw powered car but got a rel hurry up from a superchared hayabusa powered open wheeler which was great to see
