Engineers report in vic?
General_Failure - October 17th, 2008 at 12:09 PM

G'day.

Today I talked to someone in the local vicroads about what it would take to get my van registered. Seems as though it may need an engineers report for its 30-odd year old camper conversion, as it was initially built as a panelvan.

Is it right that I have to do this? Not exactly happy about the situation. Especially because there don't even seem to be any remotely local engineers.

What should I do about this?

get a second opinion from any other rego place and take any old rego papers or papers of any kind i had to do it to a roll top that was 25 years with the top found out later all i needed was an old rego
or find a old wreck with the right plate for converson or a real pop top and swap good luck:no::no:
