I hear the Manx Dune Buggy Club is going to get number plates made up through PPQ, just got an email of Brad.
Anyone here going to get a set ?
I have attached the design, I think :thumb

If they do they'll look great !!!
Just wish the misses would let me get a buggy !!!!!!!
I'd be getting on asap.....
Wow no buggy that must be very upsetting...:cry
Cool......I like the last one the best....
So when can we get them??
:bounce:bounce:bounce:bounce:bounce:bounce:bounce:bounce:bounce:bounce:bounce
You will have to ask Brad, he emailed them to me last night. I think the design is still open to input.
Hopefully within a few weeks of when we pick a design.
Brad
So will they be ready to show off at Valla?
I've given my input, and I'm waiting for the outcome.
Graham
They will be done before Valla but will your buggy be there with them on ?????
:cry:cry
I seriously doubt the buggy will be there......but won't the plates look cool sitting on the Kombi dash......

So what does that mean, your XF Wagon will be worth about $100 when you take into account the fact it currently negative, at least once you get
deffected

Ok the word on from PPQ is that there are 9 colours for the rego number and border.
..
I like the Black Plates, I agree about the Black Strip though.
Some people may not want Blue on their buggies, Black should go with most!
...
We need to pick one colour for the bottom line "Manx Dune Buggy Club inc and sort the graphic out.
The colour of the border, the QLD and the Rego Number can be selected by the individual from 1 on 9 colours availible.
I am getting teh feel that Black letters for "Manx Dune Buggy Club inc and the red buggy without the Meyers Manx sheild, like above ???
well
here
..
I don't think they will let you have the last one.
Have you asked if we will be able to get a slimline front plate and what it would look like? I run a slimline now...
How much are these costing u guys each, and whats the min number required? just thinking for the VWDCQ 21st bday
The prices are on the PPQ website and weren't VWDRIVERS Club formed in 1968 ?? don't seem like 21 years to me .
Haven't seen any plates uploade for a few hours ..:bounce
how about 2 versions of plates.
the buggy plate, and...
The baja plate!!!
Clearly the Baja plate is THE only way to go. Is it a real option or what? I don't know whether I will get one but I know what I would
choose.
Jamox
if I can get enough people that like the Baja one, then we will produce a baja one.
The only prob is it's queensland only. so sorry Jamox, you'll have to move to the other side of Australia.
Check with your local registartion place, your state may have plates like this and be able to do them for you no probs.
I'll look into it Brad. Are these classified as 'Custom Number Plates'? If they are, I don't think I can afford to spend the
$200 on them. What are "Historical Plates" that you mentioned Brad?
If I am in WA, does that mean I can invent my own one on behalf of the MDBC? He he he he, HA hA.... HOOO HOO Hoo HAH HA HAAA!
I'm on the RIGHT side of Australia and I still wouldn't be able to have plates like that. Qld is leading the way alright for identity. Would
love Baja plates and would be willing to pay for them but here (NSW) individual plates like those cost ~380 dollars a year to keep.
The New England has a new trial plate but as far as I know NSW does not have club plates for any one other than special Vintage Automobile
Registration.
OK there is too many choices going up now.......my personal favourite though is the one with black surround, black letters and the manx club website
on the bottom
