We know that some are in the dark when it comes to how we governed, so for anyone who does give a damn, take a look at some of this stuff.

you need to remember it is how THEY are governed, not us.

to me it makes sense that the US gov would want to have these plans in place, not to "control" the population as such but to do something if (when) the sh!t hits the fan.

correct me if i'm wrong but the australian army has been brought in in the past in incidences of "a state of emergency". i believe that during a "state of emergency" there are changes in how the laws are upheld etc. (someone who knows more about this please chime in). though we aren't so worried about people taking our guns and rights.

Re State of Emergency -- Fixing up after a flood is a bit different to herding citizens into detention camps.

Why do you want a gun??? Worst thing about the US is their gun laws, any idiot can get one.Weak people want guns. As for the "bill of rights" we were all probably havinbg a barby and too busy to care about it.Who cares now??? I don't...........................

I'm far more concerned about the cricket than I am guns, american politics, economy, australian politics. All those things matter little (esp american politcs) when the Australian cricket team isnt winning. Especially leading up to an Ashes tour.

really it can't be that surprising that the world caught an econ flu all at once as we are only ever the Internet away frm everyone at any minute of the day
unlike a Pauline hanson world of closed doors n fear your neighbors
really the contagion that gripped the Asian econ crisis a few years ago this pre-cursor was just something that would effect all n sundry eventually
+ it won't be the only time this will happen
just think if we had no net n networks how much more difficult would it be to get some neat parts sourced from round the globe or avd for that matter yeah
