Just had another week in China - 3 days Shanghai and 2 back in Beijing. Took the Maglev (Magnetic Levitation) train from outside Shanghai to the
Airport. I reckon the pics speak for themselves.
Pretty continual acceleration, over a 4 minute period, and a 20 km trip over in 7 mins. Now if the state government could only look a few more years
into the future, Canberra and Newcastle would be between 30-60 min trip into Sydney. Now that, would solve any population problems. I don't care how
they fund it, and with regular services, would see them keep the price down.
Hmmm...now to awake someone with a vision.
Check the start time....
...and the time now.
I'll load up a video tomorrow.
infrastructure in Australia has to problems distance and population (tax base). Shanghai has about the same amount of people as ALL of Australia so
these projects are effective for regular usage and ongoing maintenance. Would be nice though
yes its great i went on it in May 2006 n have similar pics
did u stick yr head aginst the window when the train was coming the other way
