Who owns VW-351?

aiight i dunno if this belongs here or not! but on sunday @ supernats, i saw this great split window but, chopped about 3 or 4" with a v8 conversion. looked HOT!!!

i tryed to find the owner but with no luck...

Only beetle there on the day! and what a beetle it was!

full v8 conversion, some MASSIVE thick rims on the back, and it was towing a little silver "rocket" trailer.

Would love to see a build thread on this little beaut!

I cant remember the guy's name, it lives around the Penrith area,
has been around for a long time, a very tough ride,
i think he sells shirts etc from the trailer from memory.

yeah that car was built in the 1970s and I think has been a few different colours over the decades - black with flames; yellow etc - it musta done a million miles by now!! Last time I saw it, it had just crashed into a tree :(

Full chassis, leaf rear springs etc with a VW body plopped on top

has a morris minor chassis and a 351 windsor in it. Great car. Does something like 50,000km every year. Bluey's a great guy too.

btw, that bug has got a jag grill on it now.. well that was the last time i saw it..
