HI everyone, i am looking for a good VW mechanic, can be in hervey bay, maryborough- to sunshine coast, or even anywhere up to gladstone.
Will travel i just need a good one please help me out if you know anybody. My mehcanic in bundy seems to be FOS n is too bus/lazy.

ah rocky is a little far but i gues not. I am after somebody to replace main seal, push rods and push rod seals or a price on it.. my mechanic wants to charge me 800 bucks and is taking a good month with nothing done on it.

take engine in and out
+ if he is going to pull the heads off to replace the tubes that would be 800 but inc parts

$800 is not an unrealistic price including parts. I wouldn't pay any more than that, as long as the job was done very well, no oil leaks and quality parts were used. The job could be done in a couple of days if parts are ready.

I paid $275 for rear main seal replaced, including Elring German seal. That is taking engine out to do it.
