Read The Glugs of Gosh

If you would like to have the present economic situation explained to you, read The Glugs of Gosh, by C.J.Dennis.

It was written in Australia in 1917 and it is as appropriate to today, as it was to its own time.

He describes, in poetry, the antics of the people of the Land of Goshen (Australia) and what happens when they export all of their valuable resources to another country, which then declares war on them and uses those resouces, which have of course been value added.

Shades of Pig Iron Bob and the export of Australian iron ore to the Japanese.

It's going to be a very difficult book to find as it's out of print and it's not available in the Western Australian library system.

C.J. Dennis also wrote, The Songs of a Sentimental Bloke and The Moods of Ginger Mick.
