Thinking about bringing my young fella along for the day (5yr old), will the dyno operator have any issues with a kid in the workshop? Anyone else bringing kids along to watch?

Cheers
Brendan

Hi Brendan

It's just like taking kids to any show, they are under your supervision at all times.

CU there
Rose

Mick058 - February 5th, 2009 at 07:35 AM

Sydney cruise consists of 2 at the moment  is there no one else keen to take their VW for a Saturday drive?

Are people to busy talking about their cars rather than driving them and showing them off a little?

People complain that there is no 'scene' and not enough cruise's etc, and now there is one and no one's keen. If the dyno ain't your thing fine, come for a drive and attend a day that Rose has put a lot of effort into :grind:

Are we enthusiasts or tyre kickers?

***here ends the rant***:D

donn - February 5th, 2009 at 08:05 AM

Buggy kicker here, still working on the genie / alternator thingie swap (only been 2 weeks or is it 3):mad:Oh yeah and won't have the new tyres on till Saturday, not realy cool driving (if I could) on one skinny and one fatty:dork:

Craig S - February 5th, 2009 at 08:14 AM

I'm trying to get there, including the cruise from Sydney, my wife's roster request was granted, I found someone to fill in for umpiring in the under 10s, but I've had a gastro bug since Monday, and I'm not sure how I'll go on the drive. Final decision probably won't be made until tomorrow night.

I am very keen to find out how many horses Gwendolyn has left before any mechanical improvements are made on her.

Cheers

Craig

rose - February 5th, 2009 at 08:22 AM

Come up for a nice drive with the guys no rush then afterwards you can take the kids for a cruise to check out the sites of Newcastle and the beaches make a day of it.

cu there
Rose

At this stage I am all go.

The young fella has had his wings clipped by his mum, this was his first full week of big school & she reckons that big day out in the heat will be to much for him (she's probably right). So I will be child free which will make it easier for me but I'll probably feel bad all day cause I've gone dubbin with out my main man.:sniffle:

I think I may also have another another 2 beetles coming with me from the Taree / Forster area.:yes::cool:

Anyone else going from north of Newcastle?

Hopefully see ya there

Brendan

PS. Rose, VWCOOL has asked me to leave a sway bar with you & Ian if he doesnt get there himself to pick it up. Is this OK with you?
