Hello all!
I have been loving driving my beetle around since I got it a couple of months ago but think it's time to find a good garage where they understand the
needs of a bug! Partly because the rego is due soon and partly because i think there might be a problem, but I'm not sure!
I could feel a slight regular thumping when I was driving, which progressively got worse becoming a regular, loud knocking thump, and then when I
stopped I realised I had a flat tyre. Obviously I'd like this to be the cause of the thumping but I feel that I may be being a bit optimistic to
assume that it is so. And it did feel alarmingly like when I drove our camper back in the UK when it had a wheel bearing that needed replacing, so I
want to be cautious and get the car checked as I haven't done so since buying it.
Plus it's always handy to know where a good garage is if you ever need to be towed to somewhere...!

The old italian guys at Rose Bay Auto next door to Bunnings Warehouse on Old South Head Road love a good bug. [ when they're not working on their oldlambo's and the obvious bmw + merc fashion tractors ]
i take mine there quite a bit and they're all in love with the old girl now... they'll charge you enough but they totally sorted my steering and
suspension out perfectly....
heh - just realised i have their card in my wallet...
