thats nice. reminds of something i saw on a hotrod. shifting spanner welded on as a gearstick. shifter for a shifter.
GENIUS!!!!!!!
and here and I thinking you where going to show us a transfer case lever in your kombi !!
Brings to mind a special gear stick knob I fitted to my ole morrie 1000, found a nice chrome door knob a bit bigger than a billiard ball, filled it with Plastibond, tapped a thread and screwed it onto the stick, it was so heavy that when in first or third I only had to put my foot on the clutch and it just "fell" into the next gear, very sophisticated
donn you've got class the morrie must have been like the old zephyr's with 3 0n the tree decelerate and push the clutch in and automatically jumped back to second,
Nice touch
Wannavee,,, Yeah i know , everyone calls me that :-)
Brad,,, i wish :-) Mybe if i`m good next year santa will bring me an Albins 6 speed seqential 4x4 transaxle :-)
Donn,,, true Aussie engine-new-ity mate :-)
hope its a stanley
is it me seeing things, or is there four pedals ?
Nah, it`s a "Cresent",,, it`s actually been a very faithful old screwdriver & i found it really hard to do that to it,,, but i feel that it
really did want to become my new gearstick & now it seems very very happy to be there in it`s new job :-)
& yes four (4) pedals,,, the extra one on the far left is for the fiddle brake (foot opperated rear brake) for motorkhanas,,, turn on a dime in
it`s own axis :-)
