Can any Melbourne people shed some info on the old VW dealer at Ormond?

I'm trying to do a year-by-year spreadsheet of all the VW dealers, and I'm looking at a whole series of the VW glovebox dealer listings. They are pretty good, but sometimes they are inconsistent.

What is the story with the old VW dealer, G.C. Troll, who used to be in Ormond? As far as I can tell, they started in 1956 at 746 North Rd. However the 1959 booklet says they were then at 762 North Rd. The 1968, 71 and 73 booklets says they were at 764 North Rd. After 1968 they were listed as Tucker Rd Motors, but in 1969 they were G.C. Troll again. From 1970 they stayed as Tucker Rd Motors until they closed, some time after 1982.

Did they really move addresses, or is it all the one address? Does anyone remember them?

Tucker Road Motors (848 North Road, East Bentleigh phone: 03 9570 9066 talk to Dale) still exists as a service centre; its where I get my mechanical work done. Funnily enough, they're not that close (now) to Tucker Road (which intersects North Road), so I guess they've moved from the original address.

Dale will probably know the history.
