I posted this on a UK forum, joined in with the convo IYKWIM

Anyone got a clue as to how much this is worth?

This is around 33 years old Made by "Yanoman Toy" in Japan.
Approx 14" long.
The shell is a single metal pressing & the 'pan is a metal pressing. One of the mirrors is missing & the other only has the plate at the bottom.
The engine is a 'Flux Capacitor' and works. The car uses the two wheels for steering and has a "Mystery Action" (quote from box) - it randomly changes direction.
There's a real fur dog in the back window!

Box, knackered but still there, 4 outta 5 sides. I did scribble my name on it back in the day...

No rust, a few creases - due to pressings! Still running orig engine (requires 2 C cells). Should have dusted it properly before taking photos.
Cheers

these were called bump & steer toys...

they would go olong on the two small wheels until
it bumped into something then the wheels would turn
"like Magic" .... and keep going...
