RISKYBUG - January 14th, 2009 at 08:12 PM

hi gang
just brought this baja and as some of you would know it was on ebay and sold by a datsun bloke
just what to know who build it back in the day
what kind of offroading it was used for and
if anyone has any pic of it when it was going
thanks :) everyone

Saw that one on e-bay - reckon you got a good buy there.

Sorry don't know the car, but reckon if no-one on here knows it, you should at least be able to find out names of prev owner's through that competition number on it...

yep, recognise that one!!

was very nicely done, with good gear, can't remember the motor though i remeber being inpressed. Class four (being first racing number)was unlimited baja, meaning any engine combo with baja body........i will do some more research

saw it at kempsey 1000 many moons ago, and other local events, had great stance with plenty of suspension height and travel, if it wasn't new in the early ninties, it had just had a fresh rebuild as it was super clean

there are some pics of events on the CAMS site, or at least links to them.

more pics please!!!

class one was unlimited buggy
class 2 buggy up 1300-1600cc
class 3 buggy to 1300
class four baja
class five full body shape 2WD (which featured a couple of karmen ghias and porsches.......also a certain contraversial full body beetle:ninja:)
class 6 VW 1600 motor, box and suspension buggies
class 7 "standard" 4wd
class 8 unlimited 4wd
class 9 single seat unlimited buggies! (for people who could no longer get someone to go navigator (MAD MEN!)

Wish i had my own shed space back some times.

What happened to the old orange bucket and the red baja?

RISKYBUG - January 15th, 2009 at 05:25 PM
