Heading to Tassie again... anything on?

Hi all,

I get to Tassie again on Monday and fly out on the 26th Jan. Is there anything on worth noting while there? I'm staying at Kayena (west Tamar) noth of Launceston.

Found this on the VW Tas website;

WREST POINT SILVER ANNIVERSARY SOUTH EAST RALLY 09
This Silver Anniversary South East Rally will be held on the Saturday 24 January 2009 and there will be optional runs on the Sunday to Port Arthur and on the Monday a Huon and Channel Run with Australian flags and bunting decorating the cars in celebration of Australia Day. Vehicles prior to 1989 are eligible to enter and if you are interested please contact Patricia for an entry form and/or further information.

not much happening vw wise in the north the northern club has folded now we couldn't get anyone to help run it any more. im at the other end of the coast near Stanly if your touring about

Drop in see Nino if your down south (VW Specialist in Moonah area / Pres of Tas VW Club), he'll be able to steer you in the right direction.

Great to drop by and say hi yesterday. Seriously nice collection of cars (real and toys) you have. I'm envious of your shed...

I'll be back down for around 2 weeks over Chrissie. Would love to cruise over and say hi then...
