There were 5 vee dubs there today flying the vw banner. And out of the 150odd cars 3 out of the 5 won a trophy. It was another lovely day out in
the bugs.

The bloke from Sydney with the new red bug with flames on it and dragon won best euoropean/british Ian won runner up in that catagory in the green 62
bug and the eureka won runner up in the custom catagory.

then again He has spent heaps of money on that paint job
Maybe He should get best paint job trophy...?? and leave the other trophy for others...?

are you doing up a HR HOLDEN wagon??
someone told Me they were doing up a HD Holden..
which is very rare as they were the worst holden ever made.. the suspension was straight from the USA..

and the bodies were all left out in the rain when they had a union strike ,thats why most of the hd holdens were rust buckets

Shame there are no pics of Ian whose task for the day was to see if he could get speed stripes on his noggen by wearing sunnies and NO hat.
Task achieved and didn't he look fast with the red head he was sporting on Monday.
