why you should always ask.
whatnow - February 23rd, 2009 at 08:23 PM

a few weeks ago i was standing at the counter of one of the local parts concerns, looking for a part for a friend, when i saw what i thought was a vw box on the floor up one of the isles that looked as if it had fallen from the shelves. i was curious but wasn't going to ask as i didn't want to sound like an idiot... why would they have boxed factory parts?

as i waited (it was a long wait) i thought what would it hurt to ask. (some may say i alwaly look like an idiot :) )

the box turned out to be a pair of vw germany linkpins. as i was on a roll i asked "got any more old vw stuff?"

fast forward 2 weeks and a wad of yellow ones...

lesson learnt... always always ask.
