I'm glad that you posted that link as I have never read that article before. It's a shame that it had to end but nothing lasts forever. My only wish would be that VW had done some more engine development towards the end. But I think that the emission laws forced the car makers around the world to go to the water cooled engine.

I think they should make the day the last one rolls off the line a global public holiday, so we can all have a few beers and remininsce on what the world has lost!
