Hi I saw this Log on DSK

quote

" cruise will be on the 20 th June a Saturday and in the afternoon, meeting at Appin near Campbell town at the hotel than moving of around 2pm on a cruise that will take you on some of the best cruising roads in the area. The cruise will take around 2 hours ending up at the catholic club Liverpool for a feed and bull session .there will be some trophies but decided by the cruise members no judges. it will cost $5.00 a car this cruise will be the test to see if it can run with vw's only or will need to be opened to all car clubs Holden ford etc. thanks Steve"

Looks good as lots of us love a cruise, just letting everyone knows who may have a interest and would like to go

pod - May 26th, 2009 at 12:51 AM

Sausage sizzle drinks etc
Raffle
there will be a peoples choice judging

Phil74Camper - June 9th, 2009 at 08:36 AM

My daughter and I will be there, but not sure if we're bringing the Kombi or the Golf yet.

Full page ad for the event in the latest Club Veedub magazine, posting out this week.

Mountains Greg - June 10th, 2009 at 05:16 PM

My bug is still off the road for a while... Is there going to be any watercooled's showing up? I don't want to be the lepper in a Golf Mk4 :tu:

greedy53 - June 10th, 2009 at 05:23 PM

come one come all ,the day the cruise the country roads with very few stops there is to be a stop with great sweeping fews and a stop go for a photo of all who want one

Is it ok for people to just drop in at the Catholic Club after the cruise for a chin wag and purchase some food and tickets.

Ta, Kevin

well the day was a bit wet, but for those that bothered to show up a great day was had by all .the numbers were a bit of a dissapointment, but for those that showed up give your self a pat on the back,so till the next run happy dubbin

Phil74Camper - June 21st, 2009 at 05:52 PM

I thought it was a really fun afternoon. Nice choice of roads - we really enjoyed the tight twisty bits on the way down to the river. Yes a pity we didn't get to go up through Thirlmere, but the weather was a bit of a downer. My 8-year old had had enough by then anyway.

Thanks to everyone at Flat Four for making it possible. maybe another one in late October, or maybe November? So long as it doesn't clash with the Oltoberfest/Warwick, or Boris' Picnic Day.

Send me the next flyer artwork in good time and I'll put it in Zeitschrift. Thanks again guys and girls!

vw54 - June 21st, 2009 at 06:32 PM

looks like it was a good day hope i can make the next one
