Cool Day

The wife had a day off work today. I was studying with the radio on. She had to listen to triple J. They didnt play any Jazz type music at all! To say she didnt like it is an understatement. She did say that the Dj's were good though. I should hope so. Anything would have to be better than the talentless morons on Wollongong radio.

At least she will have learnt not to leave the CD's in the car now!

I heard an interesting thing the other day Chris,

How do you know when your getting old?
When you change radio stations from Triple J to ABC normal radio.

I never thought it would happen to me, but I now listen to Norman the quiz when I'm playing in the shed in the evening. Can't handle that JJJ music anymore!!!

Whats wrong?
'lego man hair' Steve Parsons! An overdose of John Farnham. Late night love songs... I'd rather listen to the SBS test pattern. Actually I dont mind having a listen sometimes in the retro sessions. saturday night 60's music. Have a look at the website wavefm.com.au. Looks like a primary school kid did it during recess. Theres even a link on the front page that goes to... the front page!

i98fm is even better. Go to their website! brilliant. winnet.com.au/i98fm

A lot of JJJ music is way out there, but no ads, and Dj's that dont make me :puke is a good thing.

According to ABC demograpic research, those old JJ and JJJ listeners gradually move onto ABC Radio National 702. I have to put up my hand as listening to the odd Angela Catterns and James O'Loughlan on 702 on the odd occasion.

Squiz.....
