$60, bargain
Technology sure has come a long way. Now ALL cars can be driven by persons with no mechanical knowledge. At least most of the ones I see on the road on the way home from work seem to be.
I like that they had already mastered the art of fine print. The model shown is actually 103 guineas. No mention of dealer and statutory charges though. That must be the drive away no more to pay price.
'Cheaper and more useful than a dog cart and horse.' Now there's an advertising line you don't see any more. And nearly as fast and comfortable,
too I bet.
Yeah I didn't notice that it was 103 guineas, not 100, as per the small print. Another small print - it has a maximum of 20 mph, and can do 200 miles
in one day. Can you imagine spending 10 hours behind the tiller of this thing!
No vibration - yeah sure.
Must have had decent counterweights on the crank then since it is apparently single cylinder. Imagine how quiet it would be with a set of turanzas on
it!
How would you now if the engine was vibrating with the wheels/tyres/roads of the age?
