dose anyone know the size of the bolt that hold the front bumper on a 72 square back

there an 8 mm thread probally 25 mm long hope that helps

the ones for the bracket to the bar are different as they have a square locking head under the dome head
do u mean these or the bar bracket to the body work

the bracket to the body i think there is 6 of them

8mm cuphead about 25mm long..

I have just collected some over the years..
some are about 20mm long
but the longer they are the easier they are to fit...
I even have some about 40mm long...

these are special VW cuphead bolts..
the head is much smaller than Normal...
and chromed naturally..

the VW Shops should carry them...
