Was at Richards today and there was a yellow beetle there.
It is part of the Motor Magazing $10k challenge
4 cars
Wolwo 242 GT
Mazduh RX7
Fulcun RU6
and a MIGHTY 74L bug!
Basically you have $10k to buy and improve the car
Not the fastest but the most improved.
Anyway - raced out and bought the mag and the beetle is "the Westies" team
Anyway.... SOMEONE here (i will let themself out them self) is batting for the Wolwo!!
HOW COULD YOU!!!
Seriously - should be a dam interesting competition
would that be vwcool's volvo he's naughty
Hey Bizarre, i just realised your down the road from me, what should i be on the look out for?
I should know what your driving :P
milestones54, that means ur down the road from me too! iv never seen
that bug around. but i did see a convertable bug being pushed neer fivedock leasure center? was that you? i turned around to help, but it was gone
when i got back :'(
Hahaha, yeah that would have been me, one of many times pushing it :p
wolwo 242 gt is a cool model for a butterbox.. id rather a 122 tho..
Some of those early Swedish Valiants have a quite a large amount of untapped potential.
If the Volvo was any good he wouldnt be transplanting an Aussie V8 into it! Nice shot of your ugly mug in the mag Glenn
Maybe it needs some hoodjax??????????????
Anyone know what they are planning for the Beetle, engine wise?
Hi
You will need to wait for the magazine, but I heard the VW did very well; of course.

saw the second installment of the magazine, and the superbug in the flesh... or steel... there was a lot less in the 2nd magazine but can' wait for the final issue!
Even though this was ages ago;.... does anyone have any updates on it?? I'm interested in seeing more photos... maybe some scannage of the magizine..//?
Don`t know if i`ve been con(ned)verted but recently picked up this 850.
FWD (front wheel drive) `93,non turboed but can be chipped quite easily i`m told. Keep trying to hear the sound of the motor (ala dak dak) but just so
damn quiet i can hear the radio now! cheers
heh heh heh - as Glenn Torrens about putting a V8 in there
