i nkow it's not the closest to you and he doesn't specifically do vw's, but a class auto at castle hill does my t 3 wagon and has been the family mechanic for years. used to work on vw years ago and can fix virtually any motor put in front of him, that i learned when he serviced the old man's 42 foot boat. if you want a number for him i can give it to you

i've used mullers in lakemba for my vr6, but i think they do more work on late models vw's and audis and less on the early models, although stephen does know his stuff..

a bit closer to the eastern suburbs is a mechanic we use for a lot of our cars in stock, he has done a lot of work on our ovals and kombis and has done everything really well, and not expensive at all. the name is south sydney auto centre in st peters, tony is the owner, the number is 9565 2999.

i am working in mascot, thanks for the advice on castle hill but it might be a bit to far away for me...The guy in south sydney sounds like he might be just the person that i am looking for... I will let you know when i am going to go there any heads up is much appreciated...
