These are really cool. You get the classic golf with a modern interior, for the equivalent of $13,000. I'm really confused by the model specs though.
The top two models with 1600 engines are CitiSport and CitiRox. Mechanically identical the more expensive Rox gets sports front seats, colour coded
mirrors, high mounted stop light, dual tailpipe muffler, and a bit of a racy looking interior for the extra $900. Probably good value. But for some
reason, the CD player is a $500 optional extra in it, when it is standard on the Sport? What the?
I wonder if they would pass our ADR's. If they dont, maybe we can do some good old fashioned rebirthing.
And why are poms buying up our rusted relics when they could have these?

The old Mk1 was such a blast to drive, revvy little motor rock solid go-kart like steering. Modern cars leave you feel disconnected from the driving experience, an old golf makes you feel a part of the drive.
