German Look 16 or 17
alansvw - May 26th, 2009 at 08:22 PM

I want to fit Porsche Twist 17" wheels onto my 74 L Bug for the German Look. It currently has Porsche Fuchs 15" wheels (which I will be selling) fitted with the 5 stud pattern. I also have Vintage VW adjustable race style 2 1/2 diameter springs & KYB gas strut inserts on the front.. What do I need to do to be able to fit them under stock guards? It has Type 3 brakes with Cross drilled Discs on front

These fit nicely under stock guards

Use this programme to play with other wheels

I think you will find you will need spacers to fit 17" twists (mmmm... and thats a no go for Mr Rego)

2 bolt front end should get away with no spacers if 205/40 are used
