nah seen that done a few times
people repair accident damage using Sbug/Lbug engine lids and leave the badges to fill the holes
id say its been smacked up the bum b4, its not the original lid for that bug, should have the 2 vent not 4 and it has a later replacement buldged EFI style valance

MR blue slip man will probbaly make you either a. replace those taillight lenses or B. fit amber bulbs with the faded blinker section

so close to ready, just needs a good buff now

Dylan the VW 1500 badge might be yours, as that was picked up by me at a swap meet about that time but S came from Joel, less than a week ago. The badges were never on this car. Its actually an 1800 donk. And I know its history, as I bought from guy who had well before 2006 with registration papers showing that number plate.
yer Joel def needs a buff. It has been polished up, but wont bother too much till get the red done.

Actually it wasnt a swap meet that was my Kombi badge. It came of a boot I bought in Castle Hill (White oops red). I hope your not trying to get my badge from me, after all these years lol !
