the peel p50 didnt have reverse, it had a 3 speed 50cc motorbike engine, so if u got up into a tight spot, you would get out, life the back and spin
it around. the funniest thing about the peel p50 is the fact that the made a peel p50 sports... lol it had bubble lights and looked like a jetsons car
Sports model was called the peel trident. you can see them in action here:

hahahaha good work matt, thats the one..... hilarious little things
you wouldnt want to drive it for a long distance ,would start to hurt bending to the side after a while
thats assuming a) u could get in and b) it would go futher than 70k's on a tank.... lol
i'm you could upgrade to the long range 3L tank
Not sure if anyone's seen it on Top Gear but here it is. I saw it on TV a little while ago and thought it was funny as.
yeah that was a brilliant episode, jeremy drove it into the bbc building and drove it around the offices, i dont think u put the link in davo .... they also have a flash game on the topgear website which is
based on that episode.... good fun when ur bored at work
I would have kept it in postman pat colours or maybe thats because im a lol
I was only just saying the same thing to my bro!
then strap the neighbours black and white cat to the roof...

The smallest road legal car that I'm aware of is the Rytecraft Scootacar from 1934. It was made by the British Motor Boat Manufacturing Co. of
London. It is based on an electrically powered, tethered playground ride that was designed by Jack Shillin.
It looks like a Noddy car, has a 98cc Villiers engine, one speed gearing, one wheel drive, one wheel braking, no reverse, no suspension and a top
speed of 15 (fifteen) mph.
It was about 6 feet long and about 3 feet wide and high.
It was made famous in the 1960s, when Jim Parkinson drove one with English registration number BUC 515, for 15,000 miles around the world!!!
Over the years and 1000 sales it was developed into a 250cc, 40mph car with lights and reverse.

lol I guess it wasn't really that obvious. Changed it to CLICK HERE hehe
hahahaha nice...
the rytecraft scootacar
that looks like an old dinky toy and not a car. is it meant to have
lights and blinkers and stuff? i thought u needed atleast indicators, headlights and tail lights for it to be street legal.........
That looks about twice as big as the Peel P50 though!
hard to see..... as there is nothing in the background of the pic to give you contrast of its size.... certainly does look bigger though, just from driver compartment and stuff
Here's a pic taken in 1935 with something to compare size, and it also is a registered one with lights ect.
The man driving is George Formby (look him up). He was not a large man, having been a jockey in his early life.

Matt.

There's a few of those Z50s or simiar bikes gettin around my area. Always puts a smile on my face.
i love mine, its so much fun, ride it whenever i can. looks hilarious esp since im somewhat of a big bloke i put an 85cc big bore kit in it, bigger carb and sports cam, it pops wheelies in 3rd gear with me on it!!!
hahaha only top speed of 60 but on something that small its barrels of fun...
