Hell everyone, I am looking to register a rat beetle here in Victoria. The car will have to be viewed by Vic roads, will they let a bug with surface rust go through?
It is mainly external guards etc, obviously all structural rust will be repaired.

You should have no problems. So long as the rust is not structural, and that the surface rust is not bubbling, it should pass. Of course, it also needs to be legal in ride height, stop, and not have any major oil leaks.

id register it before u did anything including the rat look, that way your safe.... only worry about it if u get defected later hahahaha....
