What happens when a Manx Buggy with a 1915, mud tyres and a crazy driver cuts loose in Wes's backyard ???
[Edited on 22-6-2003 by Buggy Brad]
Dunno but none of them drowned
Wa, a submersible:o
nice, it makes me want to get a buggy.
None of them drowned, but did any of the drivers get wet?
I look at that now and just think COLD COLD COLD. Trouble with being in Melbourne in winter.

A little wet and not real cold, go the Brissy wether
Darren Didn't get wet
He was smart. Had his window wound up did he?
OK, enough about the weather already
*jenz dreams of summer and tries to warm her fingers by typing furiously*
i'll trade u, i hate the heat, the colder the better
What's with the ring in???
That last one's no Manx!!!
Next you'll let Kombi's in the club.
BiX you are on.
I love the heat and can do without an air con any day, but the heater has to be cranked.
That's why I prefer the Beetle to the Kombi in winter. It gets real toasty in there.
Has anyone ever seen a manx schwimmwagen???.......bugger having to wait for the tide to go out at the rocks at Rainbow.....just drop the prop and swim
around........
Drop teh prop ??? just get mud tyres and drive lke Daz67,
Yeah Yeah!!!!
Now I've got to clean it:cry
Hah, well that's what you get I guess when you play in the mud!
What do you do to protect the engine/distributor from the water? May be a dumb question but had to ask:jesus
Engine - Gets wet
Dizzy - most run new leads, electronic ignitions and sealed units, I am trialing some new brand of sealeant with points an it works fine.
Carbs - well they get wet, hey DAZZA, unless you have a rice cooler setup like mine.
The fun must outweigh the task of cleaning later:thumb
Thought something like that
Nah the mud and water just washed th sand off
Nah, daz67 did a post about cleaning his buggy:sandrine
He must be finicky, unlike others:P
I hate sand! You clean your buggy and the next day it's sandy again.
I hate sand! You clean your buggy again and the next day it's sandy again.
I hate sand! You clean your buggy again and the next day it's sandy again.
I hate sand! You clean your buggy again and the next day it's sandy again.
I hate sand! You clean your buggy again and the next day it's sandy again.
Finally after six months of cleaning sand it's finally starting to stop coming out of every nok and cranny, it's time to go down to the
beach again.

My engine bay is full of sand
And I didn't even get the fun of driving on the beach!!
Damn sandblasting lol
LOL
Sorry did you say you hate sand
J how do they get such a good paint finish if there is still sand around from the blasting??? Can't help but wonder is all (?)
When painted all of the orifices are taped up and sand is trapped.
Unfortuatley due to the velocity rquired to sandblast, the stuff gets in those gaps.
