Jay_1965vw - June 22nd, 2003 at 11:19 PM

Looks cool... errr... slightly impractical though????? How would you drive it? (without scraping half the bottom of your chassis off I mean)

Hmmm....

kustomkool - June 23rd, 2003 at 06:45 AM

My squares pretty bloody low.

vw54 - June 23rd, 2003 at 08:21 AM

Those cars wouldnt last 5 minutes in Sydney with all the speed humps they would be stuck on the first one they came to.

jenz58 - June 23rd, 2003 at 08:38 AM

Very low obviously!!:D;)

wrecker67 - June 23rd, 2003 at 12:33 PM

pyr0 - June 23rd, 2003 at 12:42 PM

imagine those cars with paaengers LOL ( and yes i know they've got bags:P )

Unity-28 - June 23rd, 2003 at 01:43 PM

Actually the only car out of those that has bags is the Dark blue one! The black and red one has Hydros, and The light green one has neither!

Rhett, Mine will be as low as the dark blue one! And it will be driven (not everyday, but will be driven) And with Airbags, It will ride better than stock!

PHAT BUG - June 23rd, 2003 at 01:45 PM

This bugs in Sydney, no bags at all just seriously low

PHAT BUG - June 23rd, 2003 at 01:47 PM

Nectar, you now where its at!!

Unity-28 - June 23rd, 2003 at 01:51 PM

Man lowered cars are sooo cool, but Lowered cars, that can raise at a touch of a button is even better! Plus you can get over those SPEED HUMPS with no probs! That Orange and White thing has some wicked ass camber! Wheel bearing nightmare, but who cares when its that cool!

You gots to love the clear lenses!

i think they have to start making chambered tyres so they dont scrub on the inside edge at the back!

amazer - June 23rd, 2003 at 08:02 PM

I actually ... (trying to remain tactful) have a very strong dislike for stupidly low cars. But if you are going to do it, dont do it with a swingaxle, looks like something is broken.

lowdown - June 23rd, 2003 at 11:14 PM

vehicle not lowered? then vehicle not welcome at my house!!:D
not really as the housemates dont have a lowered car, oh well.
the amount of people who knock on my window or beep there horn and tell me "hey buddy your cars broke the back wheels are broken" der its just the camber its ment to be that way!
and if i had to cut a finger off everytime ive been stuck on a speed hump(and have to ask everyone out of the car and push) id be fingerless and basically no toes either! haha
but bags are the only way to fly!

KruizinKombi - June 24th, 2003 at 12:17 AM

But that's Amazer's point (I think) - it is not meant to be that way at all.

I don't mind lowered cars, but I wouldn't do it on a swinger because I'd never be able to afford tyres that wear on one side and not on the other. To lower my notch I'm changing it to IRS just to prevent the camber problem. :thumb

I've just bought some adjusters for the front of my kombi too!

Just for fun.....

Stanley - June 24th, 2003 at 07:05 AM

Gotta agree with amazer I love slammed cars but you gotta draw the line with a swing axle way before both tyres touch together at the top:D

Unity-28 - June 24th, 2003 at 09:50 AM

THE LOWER THE BETTER!!!!! It an Indeviduals decision how low they want there car! Personally, Im not into cars that arnt lowered, but It doesnt mean I dont appriciate them, They just aint my cup of tea!!!!!

PS that mini truck wasnt done at FABRICATE THIS was it?
