As many of you may already know they have reopened Lakeside raceway. I was out there today and many fond memories of messing around there came flooding back. We need some fast bugs to sort out some track time like the guys down south, anyone keen?

yeah I did some laps there last year - top little circuit!

yeh good idea, i dont have a fast enough vw but id like to see them go, nice and close!

Had a few runs at Lakeside last year... on the old circuit before the resurfaced it... and although I was far from quick, I absolutely loved the place.

Haven't been back this year though... the entry fee almost doubled compared to last year, so have put my focus back on hillclimbs again this year.

If we get the numbers for a Volksy day to make the $$$ reasonable, then hell yeah I'm in !!!

I would be in if its after xmas. Need some time to get the thesis knocked off and the bug ready to go again.

I'm competing in the Formula Vee race this weekend (11-12th July). Third time in the seat surrounded by 19 other Vees - should be an experience!
