You will need a receipt from the seller with the engine number and chassis number and there details,name address etc??? that and a blue slip and green slip should get you passed rego,as for insurance its up to you if you want full or 3rd party??? cheers shane.

No, you don't need insurance to leave it in your driveway and you wont get insurance without it being registered.

Kev , i have laid up insurance on my Baja with shannons ,its not regoed or all in one piece ,but yes for general insurance as in full comp etc you are correct,no rego no insurance :tu:

Just make sure you know what your getting into with an unregistered bug. Normally there is a reason other than someone not affording to register it.
