Getting the oval rady for the big drive to Valla in month. Priority to get the sounds sorted. So I spent the weekend building this speaker tray.

good idea, grey... my superbug has a crescent of 19mm MDF resting between the top of the backseat and the rear window sill with a 10 inch carbon fibre sub and twin panasonic splits and a dalmation. This wonder of carpentry has been known to come loose and slip from its posi if you hit speedbumps or taxis at the wrong speed. might have to make up some braces like yours, unless there's an easier way.
maybe i should get the dalmation to hold it down with his teeth. I call him "doof pup".

Peewee will be ready to travel in time to go to Nambucca, but I won't have time to do much else apart from fitting my new fat steering wheel.

No Jen, the air-conditioning is not in. I was planning to take the roofrack and some of the aircon parts to the sandblasters, but I haven't had any method of getting them there.

I'm thinking of fitting the air-con as a mock-up anyway, even if it isn't working or restored yet. :thumb

I also have a rear crash bar (thanks fatboy) that needs some restoration, I have some low-back front seats on the way, and I still haven't progressed with my roof console. I can fit the steering wheel though!!!

I also get to pick up the 3-way fridge, gasbox and front adjusters when I get to Valla!

Dave I was thinking about having the centre section on a hinge with a lock to sercure the back section. But was too much in a hurry to try out the new 6 x 9's.
Always change it later.

Errr... you confused me Dave! Would be good if you could cruise with us, always good to have backup in case of emergency. *touch wood* We are NOT going to have any emergencies though. Just someone to talk to at the meal breaks

HA! what a laugh. The person who took 16 hours to get to melbourne is going to save you all?

Might be OK in a sense that I can bodge up just about anything to get to the end.

Then again we might be like the Griswalls in Europe once we get to Sydney. There's Big Ben..... Theres Big Ben... oh look Big Ben.
