I would like to loan a copy of the '97 remake of 'The Love Bug', the version that apparently has Horace the black bug in it.

We have a copy in the Club Veedub library (on VHS), but this tape and all the others too are currently unavailable while we convert them to DVD. It
isn't actually a very good copy - it was sent over from the US by a mate, taped from their TV. US TV is pretty crap, with funny colours (blue skin,
green sky etc) flicking in and out. We did show it at a club film night back in 2001.
Disney has not released this made-for-TV film to commercial DVD as yet, nor the 'Herbie The Matchmaker' TV series. Maybe one day...

but in reality it was more a 'sequel'. It changed a number of the themes set in the movie series, and it was the one with Horace the black Bug in

Disney also made a short-lived TV series, called Herbie The Matchmaker (1981). There were only five episodes made before it was cancelled. Jim Douglas
runs a driving school in LA, using Herbie. There is a sub-plot about Jim falling in love with a divorcee, and a nasty former husband played by Larry
Linville (Frank Burns on MASH). This series is very hard to find on tape and has not been released on DVD. I have a copy of them but, yes, taped from

Hi , I have a copy of VHS but i want to get it put onto DVD before i lend it do anyone because it's my only copy.
When i get my copy of the new love bug transfered to DVD i will make copys and give them to any one that wants one for free plus postage charges.
