Come on fellas, everyone knows there hasn't been a decent ford since the XC coupe. The whole XD-XF range, nice volvo look, or the AU??? No comment. Having said that, and being a "I like nearly all cars" kind of guy, as good as commodores are as basic cars, I am so sick of all the wanker heads that cruise around in their big bad 6 cylinder autos with sports exhausts and bodykits. They all look the bloody same!!!! And they sound like shit. If it's not a V8, keep it quiet you idiots.
About 10 years ago a few of us went to willowbank for a test and tune day. There were a heap of serious "street cars" (??) doing 8's and some door slammers running mid 6's. After a while you just get used to the speed it all happens. Then they brought out some junior dragsters. They took off and a friend of mine started hanging shit on them for being so slow and how great his 13.5 second HQ monaro was. It was kind of annoying. So when this junior dragster stopped the clocks at 9.1 seconds for the 1/8th, I couldn't stop laughing as my mates jaw hit the deck. That's right dude, your car looks that slow too. Hahahahaha....good times : )
