type 3 kombi caravan behind dual cab
ernie norley - August 19th, 2009 at 10:50 AM

can anyone tell me the site with the type3 dual cab towing a caravan made out of 2 type 3 kombi bodies thanks
Ernie

???

There is no such thing as a 'Type 3 Kombi' or a 'Type 3 Dual cab'. The Type 3 range was the Sedan, Squareback and Fastback (and the Ghia).

The Kombi (Transporter) was a Type 2 (those made from 1950 to 1991).

Do you mean the 'T3' Kombi - that is, the third generation Transporter? T3 is NOT the same thing as TYPE 3.

Ouch. You should jump in your type three dual cab and give him a lift to the hospital cause he just got burnt

If you supposedly knew there is no such thing as a Type 3 Kombi, then why did you write it not once, but twice?

You have to remember that this site is used by people new to the VW scene, as well as long-time enthusiasts. You using the wrong names, whether accidentally or deliberately, causes confusion and that's not helpful to them, or to us.

ernie norley - August 21st, 2009 at 07:00 PM

this is going no where i didnt write it twice you seem to be getting knickers in a not why would anybody deliberatly attemp to confuse people and if it did your hear to defend them with what seems to be nothing but big noting & nit picking get a life

vwombat - August 22nd, 2009 at 06:25 AM

VW = chill the hell out people!

We get to be immature because we drive the best, most fun cars ever, but not THIS TYPE of immature.

I get enough of this BS at school every day!

Kiss and make up now!

greedy53 - August 22nd, 2009 at 07:10 AM

try to help if you cannot than move on and let someone who can do it

1500S - August 22nd, 2009 at 07:59 AM

Maybe this is a start! Not a dual cab but at least a recycled Kombi trailer.

phil, i think you are bieng a little dumb, ernie quite clearly stated KOMBI, were type threes (notch square and fasty) made into kombi's? no!! kombi's have several types, when buying parts i often get asked is it for a type 1? i suppose your answer would be "duh type 1 is a beetle!" duh ,no, i'm buying KOMBI parts!! perhaps ernie should have said type25 like the poms use or would that offend as well? in future i think we should all just pull our heads in and accept that confusion exists and live with it. if you have no idea what poeple are talking about then keep quiet untill you have a better idea to put you 2cents worth in!

vwjon - August 22nd, 2009 at 08:25 AM

I would never say "no such thing"when it comes to vw's. I just say a TYPE 3 single cab ute in town the other day
Squreback + angle grinder = ute.
