What do you guys and girls recon the boss has said I can buy the T3 thats for sale in another post but only if its the only car I have. That means no ongoing projects nothing.

Go for it mate, that square (i assume the blue one with the fuchs) looks awesome. I have it in a really old magazine. A surefire way to get the boss to let you is to let her drve it for a while, she'll probably forget whatever snotbox she was gonna get anyways. Otherwise, plan b: new boss. Good luck man!

nige... my bus was descirbed as my ladies new convertable when i bought it. she was os at the time. and after a little selling of the idea, the resto and fitting the safari's.... she loves it.
now own four vehicles. it takes time but you work slowly and keep her happy.

you said she wants a new car. that type3 is about as new and cool as you can get. buy it. she can drive it.... she will love the practicallity of the wagon as well as the appreciation that she is not the same as all the others in the car park. will never forget where she parked. it certainly would not get lost in the crowd. besides if kept will appreciate not depreciate like a new car.
then after a while you start talking about how good it is and then you express your desires to create your own. she will be so happy with what she has, you'll have another b4 you know it.
and for 12k you wont do better. i've stopped counting what ive spent. its better that way. just live now take and the opportunities as they come.

I would get it so you can spend some time crusing and enjoying it, not just working on them.

Most credit unions should give you that sort of $$$$ without to much trouble.
