Reading just cars and there's an ad for a '63 notch and '63 squareback in a paddock. Methinks " I must check this out!".We get there to find not only the type 3's but a 77 home made open top bug, 4 door Mk1 golf and to my hearts delight a 71 lowlight. I ended up with the 71 for wait for it..... $500!!!!! My Friend Craig took both of the T3's.... $600! The gods were definetly smiling on us that day!

And what's this I hear about a MK1 golf? Didn't happen to be a white diesel for sale with a couple of others was it??

Cant post pics for some strange reason says the images are to large. The Mk1 is an orange '76 complete car. They all (150 plus cars) belong to a guy that has done cars for film and television for the past 20 years. The chopped beetle is the one off Mcleods Daughters. He also has the Statseman and F100 from Wolf Creek. Everything is for sale from what i can gather.

Cheers, I have to pick up just cars. A guy over at the watercooled forum just bought a 4 door diesel MK1 GLD from a somewhere 'out bush' and there were others for sale there too.

Try photobucket or a similar hosting site for your pics, then use the [img] code in your post.

Thanks for the tip with my pics. I recognise your car now from the photo, very nice! I had my Golf there that day but wasn't entered.
