My non-VW loving best mate has just sprung his daughters christening on us......for.......

b/ Give Valla a miss altogether
- someone get a doctor, what am I thinking.
c/ Go up on Friday as planned, then drive back on home on Saturday night.
- this sounds a little better, and I will get to see Saturday's events.

Christening, Only happens Once (well usually) Valla will come again, But If you can go Friday, and Make it back on Sat for it, Do it!

I would definitely not go to the christening. Absolutely no way no how. If he is your best mate he will understand.

Hmm but then I probably wouldnt go to a christening even if I was at home doing nothing.
