Was good to put a face to so many names over the weekend as well - great atmosphere and racing. Congrats everyone (If I was better at speeches I could have said all of this on Sunday!!) hehe.. Looking forward to next year.

Dangerous that was one of the one of Alder's crazy creations at it best. "Can I borrow your car for Warwick??" Then puts a 2.1L type 4 engine that has sat in a rusted out bay for the last 4-5 years in the back of the '65 and decides to go racing. split has tyres that were at least 15 plus years old on it(15" cheese cutters), runs no cooling system apart from 2 thermos mounted over the top of the engine and make some rough form of ducting out of conveyor belt to guide the air over the engine. not to mention the swing axle beetle box that was a total stocko!! Scott ran a best of 9.97@65mph over the weekend with all his times really close together(slowest was 10.20)

The 9 sec pass was aided by the removal of the front bumper funnily enough. A definate candidate for CLA me thinks...

Was great to see a heap of the family up there this weekend either racing or supporting those who were in some form. All up at one stage there were over 10 of the family there on sunday!! Apparantly there might be a few more racing next year after being being bitten by the drag racing bug....
