beetle book for idiots

hey guys can anyone out there tell if there is a good book out there that can help a mechanical no hoper like myself into a veedubber who has a faint idea as to what they might be on about?
Is there an "idiots guide to VW beetles" out there???

yep its not a bad book to start with. If you want a copy ring V V D S in Sydney on 02-9789-1777 they can post one down to you.

Other wise look around at Swap meet for old technical manuals, or even the origional hand book that come with the car these are good as well.

Next Swap meet will be in September at Boris Picnic Day in Sydney

Maybe in the summer Club Vee Dub Sydney will have a Tech day again on a Sat Arvo. These are good learners as well.
