for interior: minimise UV and heat exposure. (tinted windows, those shiny foil sun cover things on windscreen when not driving.) non-silicone based
dash protectants on vinyl is good.
For exterior: canubra wax (mothers is good). protects from oxidation, protects from turning dull
as for you and your dog

For you just use good old hair dye, works for me And the mutt just keep him out of the sun or make a coat for him
It wont fade if it isnt there
