Driving towards Maitland about 10am this morning came up behind a real nice light green beetle, maybe '64 or thereabouts, think it was a 1300, stock as a rock by the look South Ausie number plates. Pulled up alongside and gave the fella a toot and the thumbs up, at the next set of light he caught up with me, older bloke wearing a cloth cap like old MG drivers wear, he started talking to me through the open windows and told me he had driven from SA and was heading up to Johns River near Taree, beats me why he was taking the New England, thing was he said he left SA YESTERDAY, told him he must have been speeding but thinking about it I think he must have been low flying.
