A lot of cars have them now and they are annoying to a lot of other drivers
I just have the normal stock standard lights with the high and low beam but i want to upgrade to the HID lights and get a couple of driving lights one day because my headlights suck at the moment and give off very little light
The only lights I can see any need for are fog lamps and they should have yellow coloured lenses. Not the clear lamps most new cars are now fitted
with. It is really annoying when other motorists use their driving or fog lamps when conditions do not necessitate it!
Nothing worse then trying to see where you are going at night and some moron is either following or approaching you with these lamps on just because
they think they look 'cool'
Just recently returning home from work late at night a car approaching from the opposite direction failed to dip their high-beam, so I gave a quick
flash from my high-beam to remind them and all I got in response was their high powered driving lights switched on. The Police really need to start
issuing penalty notices to these idiots.
Sorry for sounding like a dick, but this is really one thing that I find most annoying and dangerous.
i don't mind em personally, as long as they are aiming towards the ground so its not blinding anyone, cause they are for close range half the time
anywyas (backup driving lights)
Its the HID kits and aftermarket white/blue light bulbs that are painful.
Hi
I hate it when "fog lights" are used all the time, its actually an offence in NSW to use fog lights when they are not needed.
I feel like going around and cutting the wires on the back of them.
I've pointed out to people I know that have them on and they didn't realize they were on.
I really get annoyed when people use their rear fog lights as well, they musnt realize that it makes their brake lights harder to distinguish. Hyundi
Exels excel at this practice.

i have cibie oscar spots on my T4
i do frequent interstate drives melb-bne etc and i can see when it counts as stockos dont give a full lit path at 110kms with roos about etc
best thing that i invested for any ride i have had..
i also put super white bulbs in the headlights and it works also a treat..
is that what that red light on teh rear of hte hyundias is for?
Yes, they are anoying!
well... the whole car in general
Fog lights and not dipping you lights shit me one solution i have found is a pair of Cesna landing lights, they were probally worth more than the car i
used them on, i could make an interstate road train dip it's lights from 1/2 a klm away they blued up the chrome where they were mounted on the
bumper! They were the only cool thing about the rusty fiat 125
What are driving lights? We obviously aren't referring to standard headlights...
Queensland has finally made it illegal to use the driving lights below the bumper except when conditions are suitable. I find there are 3 types that
use them all the time. Those who think they are making themdelves safer by having more light on, those that don't know they are on and those that
thing they are some sort of racing driver. Either way, the more the police fine them for inappropriate use the better as far as I am concerned.
Drivers that don't turn down their high beam are also a pain so now I wait for others to turn down their lights first before I dip mine as I am sick
of being blinded by others and they go through scot free.

Do you have to turn off the stereo to use those steve? hahaha. those lights rival a semi... sure useful on long dark highways though...
Bloody hell, that white bug with the flag (love that bit) and the "L" plates would start a grass fire if they were all on at the same time.
No accessories on the Bug as I only just bought it and it 6v anyhow. On the Subaru Brumby I have a pair of cheap 50w driving lights and rarely use
them. Generally when I'm out west to and from Dubbo on the long dark stretches full of roos.
Wouldn't use the in the urban areas unless it was really late at night. They are only small but useful and light up the sides of the road. Add
nothing to the distance.
I'd rather spend $200-300 on upgrading the originals than adding more secondary lights which is what I did to my previous baja.

fog/drving lights - fine should be a smack in the side of the head, both sides if you have a cap on and/or drive a late model commodore
spotlights in traffic - your a dick, you should be put infront of a semi for a few hours of them randomly going on & off
high beams constantly - you are also a few brain cells short of intelligent life allow me to drive slowly ahead of you till you overtake angrily &
ill happily show you how frustrating it is when the interior is like a solarium
this is a SERIOUS irritation for me & its getting worse in the last 6months, seriously its no help to anyone!
thank F**K im not the only one considering chopping wires!
thankyou to the people that DONT do this, whoever voted i dont care, if thats serious, smack yourself in the head a few times or catch the bus

Hi
I have Prado with factory fog lights, I have used them to look for house numbers at times, but even then I feel like moron using them and I turn them
off when other cars are around. A few times I've also turned them on in the country they give a little bit more spread to side to show up critters,
then when another car approaches I have to dip my high beam and then turn the fog lights off as well.
I think the biggest wankers with fog lights are the ones that turn off their headlights and just drive with the fog lights on at night.
