This post is entirely about expressing how much I enjoyed the drive in my bug yesterday. I drove from Sydney down to Scarborough via the National
Park. Over the cliff bridge and back. If you have not done this drive then you are missing one of sydneys great roads.
After much mucking about, my Bug went like a scalded cat all the way there and back. It handles so well - it is hard to believe they were conceived
as a humble car of mass transport. To everyone on here who has helped me iron out the issues thanks a million.
I think ultimately it was a crook spark plug lead! oh and a loaner set of Dellortos from Craig T. (Craig I have the car stored in a secret location
- no, you can't have the Dells back)
Just one drive was enough to put a smile on my face for two days
great stuff
PS
If you have Dells - where are you at with jetting the 40's
The only good part of my day is driving to and from work in either the cab or the buggy! Whenever I've had to use another car the whole day had gone to sh*t.
Hey Bizarre - I don't know the jetting. I will find out from Craig if he knows or otherwise I will take a look next time I get a chance. Did you
want to know because you are trying to work out jetting or just out of interest?
Ancient my old friend - I can kind of relate to that. I enjoy driving the Bug so much it kind of annoys me to have to drive something else. Although
stop start Sydney traffic is not the natural environment of a good manual car of almost any cariety.
I think I just invented a word.
