Treated my wife to a trip down to Melbourne on the weekend

Went and saw Ry Cooder and Nick Lowe at the Palais - not quite the Capital but still a great old theatre

Never been to StKilda before. What a blast.

Ry Cooder for those that dont know him, is arguably one of the best slide guitarists around.
Loose Tex_Mex cowboy blues.

Last time he was out was in '78.
Saw him then as well - with Dave Lindley (another brilliant guitarist)

Flew down - BIG lunch in Aklan St - concert - midnight pizza - BIG lunch in Lygon Street - flew back
